Last month, 453 single-family homes sold on the MLS® System compared to 406 in June and 438 in July 2018. Sales of apartments dropped by 14 per cent year over year while townhouse sales increased by 22 per cent. Other numbers are provided below.

Active Listings Year Over Year

  • Single-Family – up by nine per cent (1,419 to 1,552)
  • Apartments – up by 30 per cent (292 to 381)
  • Townhouses – down by 10 per cent (217 to 195)

Benchmark Prices Year Over Year: Board-Wide

  • Single-Family – $513,700 (up by three per cent)
  • Apartment – $302,600 (up by five per cent)
  • Townhouse – $410,600 (up by two per cent)
